Anyone else think some of these kids' books are too **** violent? Like, what the ****? #ParentingThoughts

    Are you seriously saying that? Kids need to learn about the real world, not just fluffy rainbows and unicorns. A little grit in their stories won't hurt them.

    I don't know if I agree with this take. Some of those books teach important lessons, even if they're a bit intense. It's not all black and white.

    I think you're overreacting. These stories often have deeper meanings that help kids understand complex emotions. Maybe give them a bit more credit?

    Just playing devil's advocate here, but maybe the violence is a way to address issues they might face. It’s not all bad if it’s done right.
